Midland Crime Stoppers is offering up to $1,000 reward for information leading to the arrest of person(s) responsible for committing the following burglary in Midland County. The Midland County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a burglary of a business which occurred on April 27, 2018 in the 6000 block of State Hwy 349. The person(s) responsible broke the window to the front door and made entry to the business. Taken during the burglary were the following firearms; one Beretta 9mm, one American Firearms 1911 .45, one Ruger Security 357 Magnum and one Beretta CX4 Storm 9mm. The weapons are valued at approximately $3,000. While inside the business the person(s) also stole $3,700 cash and a check for over $900. If anyone witnessed this incident or has any information about it or the suspect involved, we ask you to call Midland Crime Stoppers at 694-TIPS. ON WEDNESDAY, JUNE 6TH AT APPROXIMATELY 7:19PM, ODESSA POLICE RESPONDED TO SPRINGWOOD APARTMENTS, LOCATED AT 1401 HARLESS IN REFERENCE TO A DISTURBANCE INVOLVING A SUBJECT WITH A GUN. A DISTURBANCE OCCURRED BETWEEN MICHAEL DAVID VADEN, 30 YEARS-OF-AGE AND HIS 55-YEAR-OLD FATHER. VADEN FIRED ONE ROUND INSIDE OF THEIR APARTMENT. THE INVESTIGATION SHOWED THAT VADEN WAS A CONVICTED FELON. MICHAEL DAVID VADEN, HAS BEEN CHARGED WITH AGGRAVATED ASSAULT WITH A DEADLY WEAPON (FAMILY VIOLENCE) “2ND DEGREE FELONY” AND UNLAWFUL POSSESSION OF A FIREARM BY FELON “3RD DEGREE FELONY”. MIDLAND COUNTY/JUNE 06, 2018 -ON JUNE 5TH THE MIDLAND COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE EXECUTED A DRUG SEARCH WARRANT ON A SINGLE MOBILE HOME LOCATED AT 1706 EAST COUNTY ROAD 136 IN MIDLAND COUNTY. BALDEMAR VENEGAS MARTINEZ 39-YEARS-OF-AGE, IS SUSPECTED OF SELLING DRUGS. THE SUBJECT OF THE INVESTIGATION WAS NOT AT HIS HOME, BUT MARTINEZ RETURNED LATER, AND WAS ARRESTED. MIDLAND COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE RECOVERED THREE GUNS, ONE OF WHICH WAS PREVIOUSLY REPORTED STOLEN. OVER 11 GRAMS OF COCAINE, AND, AN UNDETERMINED AMOUNT OF PILLS. IN ADDITION, $11, 500 DOLARS OF DRUG MONEY WAS RECOVERED. BALEMAR VENEGAS MARTINEZ HAS BEEN CHARGED WITH MANUFACTURE AND DELIVERY OF A CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE AND POSSESSION OF A STOLEN FIREARM.
