ODESSA FIRE RESCUE, THE RED CROSS AND THE SALVATION ARMY SET UP A WARMING SHELTER INSIDE THE BOYS GYM AT ECTOR COLLEGE PREP SUCCESS ACADEMY LOCATED IN THE SOUTHSIDE OF ODESSA, TO ACCOMODATED THE HOMELESS OR THOSE TRAVELERS THAT NEED A WARM PLACE TO STAY DURING THE EXPECTED BAD WEATHER. MIDLAND, TEXAS/DECEMBER 30, 2020-THE MIDLAND HEALTH DEPARTMENT HAS RECEIVED 200 DOSES OF THE MODERNA COVID-19 VACCINE AVAILABLE FOR HEALTH CRE WORKERS AND MIDLAND RESIDENTS OVER THE AGE OF 65 WITH MEDICAL CONDITIONS.

THE MIDLAND HEALTH DEPARTMENT IS TAKING PHONE CALLS AND SETTING UP APPOINTMENTS FOR HEATHCARE WORKER AND ELIGIBLE PERSONS AND WILL PROVIDE THE VACCINE BEGINNING THE FIRST WEEK OF JANUARY 2021.

DRB MEDIA COMMUNICATIONS DIGITAL NEWS(122920)-CITY OF ODESSA COVID-19 VACCINATION PLAN

 

Odessa, Texas/December 29, 2020-The City of Odessa COVID-19 Incident Command and Medical Center Hospital are working together to release the vaccine to those within the State of Texas’ tiered priority list for vaccine distribution. Many in the First Tier have received the vaccine and those next in line who wish to take it need to register.  Here is the list of those eligible to register.

If you are in these categories email: odessavaccine@odessa-tx.gov. This email address is only for those included in the categories listed. A valid badge or identification will be needed to register online and be presented at the vaccine site.

DRB MEDIA COMMUNICATIONS DIGITAL NEWS(122720)-FATAL FIRE IN THE 200 BLOCK OF EAST 12TH STREET IN ODESSA


On Sunday, December 27th, at approximately 12:07 am, Odessa Fire Rescue and the Fire Marshal’s Division, responded to a structure fire located in the 200 block of E. 12th street. Upon arrival, firefighters found a home fully-involved. Officials found a deceased person in the back of the residence. The identity of the person unknown. The deceased person will be taken to Terrant County for an autopsy. The fire is still under investigation.
