DRB MEDIA COMMUNICATIONS DIGITAL NEWS NEWS BRIEF(011818) ARSON – HOBBS, NEW MEXICO MURDER

ODESSA, TEXAS/JANUARY 18, 2018 – ODESSA FIRE AND RESCUE RESPONDED TO THE 200 BLOCK OF SOUTH HANCOCK AND EXTINGUISHED A FULLY ENGULFED FIRE FROM A RESIDENCE. THERE WERE NO REPORTS OF ANY INJURIES.

OFFICERS CONDUCTED A TRAFFIC STOP ON THE MAROON FORD RANGER IN THE 200 BLOCK OF NORTH LEE. THE DRIVER WAS IDENTIFIED AS RAYMOND FRESQUEZ, 47 YEARS-OF-AGE. OFFICERS COULD SMELL A STRONG ODER OF GASOLINE COMING FROM THE VEHICLE. A RED GASOLINE CAN WAS IN PLAIN VIEW OF THE OFFICER IN THE BED OF THE TRUCK.

RAYMOND FRESQUEZ WAS CHARGED AND ARRESTED WITH ARSON “2ND DEGREE FELONY”, DRIVING WHILE LICENSE INVALID WITH PRIOR CONVICTIONS “CLASS B MISDEMEANOR” AND FOUR OUSTANDING WARRANTS. FRESQUEZ WAS TRANSPORTED TO THE ECTOR COUNTY LAW ENFORCEMENT CENTER.

 

ON WEDNESDAY, JANUARY 17, 2018, AT APPROXIMATELY 7PM THE ODESSA POLICE DEPARTMENT, ALONG WITH THE ASSISATNACE OF THE U.S. MARSHALS SERVICE AND DPS RESPONDED TO THE 4900 BLOCK OF WINCHESTER IN REFERENCE TO A WANTED FUGITIVE.  OFFICERS MADE CONTACT WITH A FEMALE MATCHING THE DESCRIPTION OF THE WANTED SUBJECT.

DANIELLE RAZO, 33 YEARS-OF-AGE WAS WANTED OUT OF HOBBS, NEW MEXICO FOR MURDER. RAZO WAS CHARGED AND ARRESTED FOR MURDER “1ST DEGREE FELONY”, AND CONSPIRACY TO COMMIT A FELONY (MURDER) 2ND DEGREE FELONY. DANIELLE RAZO WAS TRASPORTED TO THE ECTOR COUNTY LAW ENFORCEMENT CENTER.
