DRB MEDIA COMMUNICATIONS DIGITAL NEWS-NEWS BRIEF(110317)-CRIME OF THE DAY-INDECENT EXPOSURE

ODESSA, TEXAS/NOVEMBER 3, 2017/OPD – ON FRIDAY, NOVEMBER 3, 2017 AT APPROXIMATELY 1:23PM, ODESSA POLICE RESPONDED TO THE ECTOR COUNTY LIBRARY, LOCATED AT 321 WEST 5TH STREET, IN REFERENCE TO AN INDECENT EXPOSURE.

OFFICERS MADE CONTACT WITH THE 24-YEAR-OLD COMPLAINANT, WHO ADVISED THAT SHE HAD BEEN SITTING DOWN AND STUDYING INSIDE THE LIBRARY. THE COMPLAINANT INFORMED POLICE THAT A MALE SUBJECT KEPT STARING AT HER AND TRIED TO START A CONVERSATION WITH HER, BUT SHE IGNORED THE MALE SUBJECT. THE MALE SUBJECT THEN EXPOSED HIMSELF TO HER AND THEN LEFT THE SCENE ON FOOT BEFORE POLICE ARRIVED.

THE SUSPECT IS DESCRIBED AS A BLACK MALE WEARING A GREEN SWEATER AND BLUE JEANS, APPROXIMATELY 6’3” TALL AND 250 POUNDS AND APPROXIMATELY 35 YEARS OF AGE.
