DRB MEDIA COMMUNICATIONS-ODESSA POLICE ASKING FOR PUBLIC’S HELP

ODESSA, TEXAS – ON AUGUST 9, 2017 AT APPROXIMATELY 3:24AM, ODESSA POLICE RESPONDED TO 1000 NORTH COUNTY ROAD WEST AT THE CASH AMERICA PAWN IN REFERENCE TO A BURGLARY. THE INVESTIGATION REVEALED THAT TWO MALE SUBJECTS MADE FORCED ENTRY INTO THE BUSINESS AND WENT STRAIGHT TO THE FIREAMS DISPLAY THAT WAS EMPTY. THE SUSPECTS STOLE SERVERAL PURSES AND FLED THE SCENE IN AN UKNOW DIRECTION. THE SUSPECTS CAUSED APPROXIMATELY $2,000 IN DAMAGES.

THEN AT 3:31AM, ODESSA POLICE RESPONDED TO 1012 NORTH GRANT AT THE CASH AMERICA IN REFERENCE TO A BURGLARY. THE INVESTIGATION REVEALED THAT TWO MALE SUBJECTS USED A VEHICLE TO MAKE FORCED ENTRY INTO THE BUSINESS. THE SUSPECTS STOLE: 11 RINGS, 7 WATCHES, 2 SILVER BRACELETS, 1 PANDORA BRACELET, 3 SILVER PENDANTS AND 4 KNIVES. THERE WAS APPROXIMATELY $4,500 IN DAMAGES TO THE FRONT GATE AND FRONT DOOR.

AT APPROXIMATELY 3:42AM, ODESSA POLICE RESPONDED TO 2701 NORTH DIXIE AT THE GUN SPORT LTD IN REFERENCE TO A BURGLARY IN PROGRESS. UPON ARRIVAL OFFICERS OBSERVED DAMAGE TO THE FRONT DOOR. THE INVESTIGATION REVEALED THAT TWO SUSPECTS BROKE THE WINDOW, BUT WERE UNABLE TO MAKE ENTRY INTO THE BUSINESS. THE TWO SUSPECTS WERE LAST SEEN RUNNING WESTBOUND ON UNIVERSITY BEFORE TURNING ON TO KAY STREET.

THEN, AT APPROXIMATELY 3:52AM ODESSA POLICE RESPONDED TO 2021 NORTH COUNTY ROAD WEST AT HALFTIME LIQUORS IN REFERENCE TO A BURGLARY. THE INVESTIGATION REVEALED UKNOWN SUBJECTS MADE FORCED ENTRY INTO THE BUSINESS THROUGH THE FRONT DOOR. THE SUSPECTS HOOKED A ROPE OR CHAIN FROM A VEHICLE TO THE SECURITY GATE BEFORE TEARING IT OFF THE WALL. APPROXIMATELY $1,150 WORTH OF LIQUOR AND CIGARETTES WERE STOLEN BEFORE FLEEING THE SCENE.

IT IS BELIEVED THAT THE SAME SUSPECTS ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR COMMITING ALL FOUR BURGLARIES. BOTH SUSPECTS WERE WEARING GLOVES. THE FIRST SUSPECT WAS WEARING A CAMOFLAGE HOODIE AND THE SECOND SUSPECT WAS WEARING A BLACK OR BLUE SHIRT.
