DRB MEDIA COMMUNICATIONS DIGITAL NEWS(080221)-OPD INVESTIGATING LOWE’S HOME IMPROVEMENT THEFT

Odessa, Texas/August 2, 2021-On July 22, 2021 at approximately 2:24 pm, a theft occurred at the Lowe’s Home Improvement located at 4101 East 42nd Street. Investigation revealed that an unknown female subject stole approximately $350 worth of merchandise. Further investigation revealed that on July 26, 2021 at approximately 8:20 am, the same suspect returned to Lowe’s and stole approximately $200 worth of merchandise. The suspect left the scene in a brown Chevrolet Blazer. Anyone who recognizes the suspect shown in the surveillance photo contact Ofc. B. Midland, Texas/July 31, 2021-On Saturday, July 31, 2021 at 1:21am officers with the Midland Police Department were dispatched to the intersection of Parkway/Hollandale in reference to a juvenile that was found deceased. The victim suffered multiple gunshot wounds. Two suspects have been placed in custody in reference to the alleged murder. More information as it become available. The investigation is ongoing.

DRB MEDIA COMMUNICATIONS DIGITAL NEWS073021 SAN ANTONIO MAN DIES AFTER FATAL CRASH

Odessa, Texas/July 30, 2021-A San Antonio man is dead following a major crash that occurred this afternoon in Northwest Odessa.

On July 30, 2021 at approximately 1:41pm, Odessa Police responded to North County Road West and Sunset in reference to a major crash.

Investigation revealed that a Dodge Durango, operated by Jocelyn Flores, 24 years of age, of Odessa, was traveling northbound in the 1700 block of North County Road West.

A motorized scooter, operated by Jack William Ward II, 83 years of age, was attempting to cross eastbound across North County Road West before being struck by the Dodge Durango.

Ward was transported to a local hospital and later pronounced deceased by medical personnel. Next of kin were notified. There were no reports of any other injuries and the investigation continues.
